Very elegant antique Regency style sofa table, with some very nice features. The top is flame mahogany, with satinwood crossbanding & the drawers are the same. The reeded X framed legs are joined by a turned cross stretcher that gives the table more stability. Under the feet are small brass casters. The back of this table is polished too. This table, which looks great open or closed could be used for a variety of purposes, either behind a sofa as a side table or even as an occasional writing table. It's in good condition for the age, which I would estimate to be around the 1930-50's & has just been re-polished.

This very impressive walnut sofa table has a wonderful shape & is exceptional quality too. It's in the antique Queen Anne style & I should think it dates to around the 1930's. The top is burr walnut, with walnut cross-banding, as are the flaps, which when extended, give the table a completely different look, because of their shaped ends. There are two drawers below, with the original brass handles & the back is polished too. The sides, the feet & the cross stretcher, all have a delightful shape to them. This sofa table is in good original condition, having just been polished.
