This antique walnut bureau bookcase is a real character piece & has a lot of age too. I'm not sure of it's exact age, but I would say it's at least late Victorian & possibly much older. The style is 'Queen Anne', with the double dome top, herringbone inlay, fitted interior with a well & the bun feet. It does have many fine interesting features, so please enlarge all of the images to see for yourselves. The glass on the doors is really old & rippled. The inside has a old green paint finish. The drawers are crossbanded walnut & there is a storage well that's underneath a slide inside the bureau. Like I said, this piece is really old with lots of character, so there will be various small imperfection. What I like most about this bureau bookcase, is it's small proportions.
