Antique Victorian Style Leather Chesterfield Sofa

This large deep buttoned brown leather chesterfield sofa is of exceptional quality & is extremely comfortable. It's antique Victorian style, with a wonderful original colour to the leather, dating from the around the 1950's period & it came with the pair of chesterfield armchairs that are also on the web site. I have separated them, in case someone wants to buy one or the other. The leather is in great condition as is the upholstery. It's deeper than most, with sprung edges & it even has springs inside the tops of the back. Below the seat there is more decorative leather buttoning & it sits on bun feet. Personally, I think it would be a shame to split this sofa from the chairs, but I know from previous experience that this will probably happen. This sofa is in good original condition, with no splits or tears.

Pair of Antique French Carved Walnut or Beech Salon Armchairs

Pair of antique French salon armchairs in walnut or beech (it's hard to tell) in good original condition. The wood is beautifully carved all over, the legs nicely shaped & the open arms are padded. I would say they date from around the 1920's period & we have just had them upholstered in calico. These are very versatile chairs that would work well in many locations in the home.

Antique Regency Mahogany Stool

This antique Regency mahogany stool is very impressive & most useful. It has been reconstructed from a pair of Regency chairs from around the 1810 period & then recovered. Take a good look at the quality of the carving. It's been fully re-upholstered with a calico topping & would only cost about £25 to recover it again. These stools are very popular for use at the end of a bed.
