This unusual antique French stool has a great shape, having slightly inverted curves to all four sides & it also has some really good carvings on the sides & on the shaped legs. It's in good original condition & we have just had it recovered in a neutral greyish linen fabric. The frame looks like walnut & I would date it to around the 1910 period.

This large deep buttoned brown leather stool is a really great size & it can also be used as a coffee table, because the top is flat. The leather has lots of character, because it's hand coloured. The turned feet are mahogany as is the show wood frame & it has solid brass casters. The feet are antique Victorian & the rest of it has been adapted into a stool. This is a great item with loads of character & a most useful piece too. The upholstery on this stool is top quality & no expense has been spared in the making of this piece. I have had quite a few of these made to order in different sizes for customers & every stool has been individually made normally using antique feet.
This antique Regency mahogany stool is very impressive & most useful. It has been reconstructed from a pair of Regency chairs from around the 1810 period & then recovered. Take a good look at the quality of the carving. It's been fully re-upholstered with a calico topping & would only cost about £25 to recover it again. These stools are very popular for use at the end of a bed.
