Stunning pair of antique upholstered chairs with walnut or possibly satinwood carved frames. These chairs date from the William 1V period 1830-40 & the frames still retain their original character. They have just been re-upholstered & the seats have been completely redone inside. The frames are a lovely shape, with some really intricate carving & they are really comfortable too. There are a few tiny bits of mouldings missing in between the top of the legs & the seats, in fact there is still one remaining. It's so small you wouldn't even notice & if I took the last one off, nobody would be any the wiser, but I thought I should just mention it. These chairs are quite a rare model, especially in pairs & I don't anticipate them hanging around for long.
