Pair of antique French style lamp or bedside tables in good original condition. They have inlaid parquetry tops, crossbanding on the tops & under-tiers below, pierced gilt metal galleries & concealed drawers. The quality is very good & they have a great shape with good attention to detail. I would say they are about 50 years old.
Antique Edwardian 3 tier jardinere stand in Satinwood. It's very elegant, quite tall & there is inlay around some of the tiers. This table is in good condition & dates from around the 1900-10 period.
Good quality antique Georgian style Satinwood bookcase in great condition. This piece is very well made & is not looking it's best in the images, because we forgot to put the shelves in. I believe the shelves are solid timber & they are reeded on the edges. There are 3 adjustable shelves in the top section & one in the bottom. I believe this bookcase was made about 30-50 years ago by a company called 'Carol Brothers' & is beautifully constructed. Apparently they made most of their items for the American market & even had a showroom in the World Trade Centre. It has a dental cornice which lifts off, two astral-glazed doors beneath & a deeper bottom section with two panelled doors. The top section lifts off & the base sits on ogee bracket feet. There is a makers mark 'Carol Brothers' & it is fabulous quality.
Very stylish round Art Deco nest of tables in Birds Eye Maple, with walnut cross banding on the outer edges. There are four smaller tables with two tiers that slide under the larger round table. This set is genuine 1930's & is in lovely condition having just been French polished.
