Small Antique William 1V Rosewood Occasional Table

This exquisite small rosewood table is antique William 1V period & has many wonderful features. Take a good look at all the carvings, which typify that 1830-40 period. The figuring in the rosewood is also very strong. This table is finished off at the back as nice as the front. There is a drawer at the top & brass casters under the feet. This table is wonderful quality & it's quite rare to find this type of thing in such good condition.

Antique French Art Noveau Inlaid Rosewood Dining Table

This is a most unusual table. It's French, Art Nouveau, dating to around 1890-1900 & is amazing quality. Take a good look at all of the images to see all the many fine features. It has a large circular top in segmented rosewood, which can be extended to take many leafs, because there are loads of bearers underneath. I don't have any leafs & the previous owner has no knowledge of them. This table is really large, so it could seat a comfortable 6-8 people as is, or could be used as a centre table. The supports are very stylish too & there is some copper decoration on the base. There is also a makers mark which we have shown an image of. This stunning table came out of a private estate in Hampstead, London, along with many other unusual item, some of which are still on the web site. I should really put this piece in a specialist Art Nouveau auction, but I thought I would try it this way first.

Antique Victorian Inlaid Rosewood Bedside Cabinet

Stunning quality & beautifully inlaid Rosewood bedside cabinet. This piece could sit anywhere in the home, so it's most versatile. It's antique Victorian & is completely original. The woods are rosewood, mahogany & many other woods within the inlays. There is a shelf inside the cupboard, although I'm not sure whether it's been put in for the photographing. This cabinet is in good original condition, with loads of character.

Large Antique Victorian Inlaid Rosewood Wardrobe

Antique Victorian wardrobe, with a rosewood front section that's beautifully inlaid all over & mahogany sides. It's a most useful piece of furniture, due to the combination of hanging cupboards, mirrors, drawers & a storage cupboard. The inlay is particularly beautiful, as is the grain of the rosewood & the interesting panelling. This wardrobe does break down into smaller sections for easier transport. It has been polished & restored, with the original character being mantained, so there will be the usual indentations, marks. etc, in certain places. I believe the handles are original too & the original mirrors have bevelled edges. There is an original locking contraption to one of the drawers, with a rod that goes from the cupboard into the side of the drawer (see image). I would say this wardrobe dates to around the 1880 period.
