Unusual small 2 tiered cabinet with a tray top. Very elegant, refined piece, with many fine features. It's mahogany & flame mahogany, with fine inlays of satinwood & other woods. Besides, the tray top, it has unusual cross supports on the sides, with 2 drawers & 2 cupboards. This cabinet has wonderful colour, patina & character & is in it's original codition, which is good for the age. I would date it to around the 1930's period.
Quality flame mahogany chest on chest, in the antique Georgian style. This chest has many lovely features, including canted corners, with blind fretwork, crossbanding on the drawers, a brushing slide & nice quality brass handles. It comes apart into 2 sections & sits on bracket feet. I would date it to around the 1930-40's period.
This Antique Edwardian desk is amazing quality. It is mahogany, with a breakfront & profusely inlaid with quite a few different woods, including satinwood, tulip wood & ebony. It has a tooled leather top, with a reeded edge, below which are 8 inlaid drawers, one of which is a double drawer. The brass handles, feet & casters, all look original too. This desk, has a back panel too & it is a very sturdy, well made piece of furniture. Take a good look at all the images & see for example, the very fine dovetails on the double drawer. I've put it down as Edwardian, but it could equally be late Victorian. I would say it was made around the 1890-1910 period.
Lovely small writing table, antique Queen Anne style, in walnut, with a kidney shape & Queen Anne legs. Good original colour & condition, with minor nicks & marks, commensurate for age, which is around the 1910-1920 period. Many fine features, including original brass handles, good carving on the legs, oak lined drawers, solid drawer bottoms & what looks like the original leather top. This desk is a real character piece of furniture.
