Antique Art Nouveau Bronze Urn

Very decorative large antique urn with some beautiful details & some wonderful shapes. It's very much of the Art Nouveau period in age & design. I'm fairly sure that it's solid bronze & it's very heavy. You can see in the images that there is some rubbing in places on the figures. Please enlarge all of the images to see the amazing details. I would say this vase is French & it will date from around the 1880-90's period.

Antique Specimen Marble Top Gilt Bronze Table - Elkington & Co

Very rare & fine quality gilt bronze occasional table with a stunning specimen marble top. We have researched this piece & discovered it was made between 1848 and 1861. The coat of arms on the base celebrates the marriage of the Snowdon and Saumarez families. The top is made up from many different choice pieces of marble. Please enlarge all the images to see the fine details & colours of the marble. Besides the coat of arms, there is also the Elkington & Co mark stamped on one of the legs. This table was valued very recently by Christies to sell for an estimate of £12,000 - £14,000, with a slightly lower reserve. I could go that way, but I thought it would be simpler to try to sell it my normal route.

Antique Swedish Leather Chesterfield Sofa

This antique Swedish leather Chesterfield sofa is very stylish & has a great look, plus it's very comfortable too. It's deep buttoned in all the right places, with some hand studding & sits on strong tapered legs. I particularly like the square leather panels on the fronts of the arms & the colour is wonderful too. This sofa is in excellent condition, with no damage to the leather & I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period.

Large Antique Victorian Satin Birch Chest of Drawers

Large chunky antique Victorian chest of drawers in Satin Birch with a lovely silky finish on the surface. All the drawers are deep & graduated, while the bottom drawer is extra deep, because it is attached to the plinth. The drawers also have turned bun handles, original locks & fine dovetails. This chest is in good condition & dates from around the 1860-80's period. It's very rare to get them in this wood.
