Antique Victorian Inlaid Walnut Credenza

Antique Victorian figured walnut credenza in good original condition, with fine inlays & gilt bronze mounts. There are a lot of fine inlays all along the top, down the front sides & loads more on the central panelled door. There are two gilt metal trims all around the top front edge, more on the middle door & gilt mounts either side of the middle door. The side doors have bowed glass & inside the original lining is still in good condition. However, behind the middle door the lining is not in good condition (see images), but we are in the process of relining it, so that will look much better. This impressive piece is priced really well.

Large Antique Solid Walnut Dining Table

Very large solid walnut antique dining table in great condition, having just been French polished. The top is solid walnut with a lovely grain & I think the rest of the table is solid walnut too. It has an extra leg under the middle, which I presume was put there to provide extra support. The bottom of the legs are brass capped. This table is very solidly built & is free from splits or warps. It's very large & would easily seat 10 people. I find it quite hard to date accurately, because I've never come across a table like this before, but judging from the construction I has to be 19th century, possibly from around the 1880 - 1890 period, or maybe earlier.

Antique Early Victorian Mahogany Writing Table Desk

Extremely fine quality antique mahogany writing table, which could also be used as a side table or dressing table. It's totally original, with original handles, back gallery & brass casters. I would date it to around the 1840 period & it's in great condition, having just been polished. The top is solid mahogany while the drawer fronts are flame mahogany & the legs are beautifully turned.

Antique Leather Chesterfield Sofa

Antique deep buttoned leather Chesterfield 3 seater sofa in excellent original condition & very comfortable too. The leather has a good naturally distressed look & plenty of warmth in colour. It's hand tacked all over & sits on flat bun feet. These old chesterfield are always more comfortable & better looking than the new ones. More importantly, they hold their value & should last a lifetime. I would date this Chesterfield to around the 1950's period. Please enlarge all the images to see the condition & detail properly. There are no holes or tears. Right now I do have about 4 different types of antique Chesterfields on the web site, which is quite unusual, because 6 months I could get hold of any when everyone was looking.
