This small antique mahogany writing table dates from the 1830-40 William 1V period. It is in lovely original condition. Most of these models I've come across in the past seem to have the corner brackets missing, but this one has everything intact, including the original handles & white porcelain wheels. The leather has been replaced quite recently & is hand coloured with gold tooling. It has turned legs, a single drawer & the back is finished off too.
This fabulous quality antique mahogany table could be used as a writing table, side table or dressing table. It's early Victorian, with a solid top, single drawer, turned legs & casters. It has a wonderful original colour, good patina, loads of character & is in good original condition. The back of this table is polished too.
Good quality antique Georgian style mahogany pedestal desk, which is a bit larger than the average, with a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface. The back & sides are nicely panelled & it sits on bracket feet. There are brass handles on all of the drawers & the bottom right hand drawer is double depth for files. This is a good solid well made desk in good condition & I would say it's about 50 years old. It has just been French Polished & re-leathered. This desk comes apart into three sections for easy transportation.
Antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany writing table of fine quality, with the 'Maples & Co' stamp on the drawer, which in itself is always a sign of good quality. The top has a hand coloured tooled leather writing surface. There are two drawers below, with original brass handles, tapered legs, with brass casters & the back of this desk is polished too. This writing table is in excellent condition & it dates to around the 1890-1910 period.
