This very small & compact mahogany chest of drawers is really no larger than a bedside chest. It's antique Georgian style from around the 1950's period & is in mint condition. Also, it's really good quality, with some lovely features. The top is flame mahogany, with crossbanding & the many drawers have original brass handles. The edges are canted & it sits on bracket feet. The drawers fronts are flame mahogany too.
Unusual antique Victorian slim chest of drawers in mahogany with turned handles. It's solid mahogany, with curved corners, top & plinth. The drawers are graduated with fine dovetails & solid mahogany bottoms. This chest is a very chunky well made piece & has loads of character too. It would make a great filing chest or possibly a bedside chest. It dates from around the 1860-80 period.
Tall, slim antique bow fronted chest of drawers in burr elm, with a crossbanded reeded top. It has a wonderful original colour & patina, with the original brass handles on the 6 graduated drawers, that have solid wooden drawer bottoms. This chest is fine quality & of unusual, useful proportions. It sits on splayed feet & is in good original condition throughout. I would date it to around the 1910 period.
Antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers in lovely original condition. This is definitely one of the better quality versions of this type of chest. It has a solid mahogany top, round corners, mahogany bun handles, locks on all the drawers & very deep graduated drawers. The bottom drawer actually comes out joined to the plinth, so there is no wasted storage space. There are also flat bun feet at the base. The drawer bottoms are solid too. This chest dates from around the 1860-80 period, so there are naturally various old marks, indentations, etc, so don't expect it to look new, but it is in good condition & structurally sound, with drawers that work.
