Beautiful & very practicable open bookcase that is antique Victorian, with later veneering. The grain of veneers is very nice. There is some ebonised edging & also some good quality gilt metal mounts. At the base there is a shaped plinth.

Lovely small proportioned antique bookcase in mahogany, with flame mahogany panelled bottom doors. The top half has two atral-glazed doors, with adjustable shelves below & the is a dental cornice on the top. It's in lovely original condition & comes apart into two sections. I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period. This bookcase also has two drawers with brass handles & sits on bracket feet. At the moment I don't have any keys for this piece. I suppose we could always get some new ones cut.
Good quality mahogany bookcase, with two astral glazed doors above & two flame mahogany cupboards, below. The top half has adjustable shelves inside. There are strong bracket feet on the base. This bookcase is very good quality & probably dates to around the 1930's. It's antique Georgian in style & is in good original condition, with plenty of character.
Very unusual mahogany breakfront bookcase with a secretaire in the middle. It's antique Georgian Chippendale in style, with many nice features. Take a look at the concave glass in the top doors, with the shaping around. That's most unusual! Also, the shaped raised panels on the bottom cupboards are unusual too. This whole piece is extremely good quality & of very solid construction. I would say it dates from around the 1930's & is in good condition, with normal marks & indentations, consistent for the use it's had over the years. It comes apart into 2 sections for easier transport.
