Large antique Mid-Victorian chest of drawers in good original condition, with normal markings commensurate for age, including some old veneer movement on the top edge & various indentations, etc, but nothing that really detracts from the overall look. It has original turned wooden handles, curved ends & deep drawers. The bottom drawer come out with the plinth attached, so as not to waste any space. All the original locks are still there, as are the original wooden escutcheons. It has a plinth base, with flat bun feet below. This really is a nice example & it dates to around the 1860 period.
