Antique French style nicely shaped coffee table, with gilt metal mounts & top edge. The top surface is parquetry, with an inlaid cross banded border. The legs are nicely shaped too. I think the wood could be a combination of Walnut, Kingwood, Mahogany & possibly some
Fruit wood. This table is in good original condition, but it hasn't been polished like most of my pieces, because I thought it was good enough as it was & that way I could keep the price down.
