This very impressive bombe chest is in lovely original condition & has a wonderful shape. It has a marble top, which looks like it has had a small repair on one of the back corners. It has four drawers, with gilt metal handles & there are more gilt metal mounts all over this chest. I think the outside wood is Kingwood, with some fine inlay joining up with burr walnut or maple. It's antique French style & probably about 50 years old.
