Fantastic quality & good looking deep buttoned leather antique chesterfield. This chesterfield is in good original condition & you can feel the crisp horse hair underneath the leather. The leather is a nice distressed dark brown, it's hand tacked & has bun feet with casters underneath. What's extra nice is that the cushions are also buttoned. Take a good look at all of the images, but to be honest the photos don't really do it justice. I'm not sure of the exact age, but at a guess I'd say it was over 80 years old or possibly older. They have been making these since Victorian times, so it's hard to tell. Please don't compare this to all the mass produced pre-coloured leather chesterfields that are flooding the market. This one has real character & the leather is original. I do have another one in my shop right now, which is lighter in colour & a bit less money, but I don't have a photo of it yet.
